Dr. Gurdeep Brar (DC, FRC, B.Sc)
Dr. Gurdeep Singh Brar began his journey at the University of Toronto, where he tried valiantly to stay awake during his accounting classes for a full year. Realizing he would likely bankrupt future clients, Dr. Brar made the bold choice to pursue his passion for science. A few years, and countless biology classes later, he began his journey towards achieving a Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Brar graduated with honours from D’Youvillle College in December 2014. His passion for movement science has led to certifications in advanced soft tissue manipulation and a designation of mobility specialist.
Dr. Brar wants to help you reach your movement goals. When he isn’t in the clinic or reading, Dr. Brar willingly crushes his own soul through his lifelong love affair with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Dr. Navjot Singh Sekhon (DC, FRC, B.Sc)
Dr. Navjot Singh Sekhon was always happiest in a gym. His love of exercise, and strong interest in taking care of his body through nutrition, led him on a four-year journey of self-exploration during his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo. He realized quickly that his extroverted personality and passion for manual medicine would be a perfect fit for a career in chiropractic.
Dr. Sekhon graduated with honours from D’Youville College in May 2015, earning a doctorate in chiropractic care. He continues to expand his knowledge of physical fitness and nutrition every day. Dr. Sekhon is a certified mobility specialist and is always on the look -out for continuing education that fits his philosophy of care. When Dr. Sekhon is not in the clinic, you will likely find him pushing weight and exploring his movement at your local fitness center.
Parvinder Brar (CPT)
Par Brar (CPT) is a York University Alum, who received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (Honours.) Par’s master plan was to become a police officer, as he always wanted to serve his community. However, as he was preparing for his Peel Police Fitness Test, he came to the realization that his true passion was fitness. Par has been passionate about athletics and movement his entire life. He has been involved in competitive sports and personal fitness for over ten years, and is now ready to take his experience and education to the next level.
Par is currently pursuing certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS) and Precision Nutrition. When he is not training clients, you can find Par learning the art of Muay Thai, listening to good music or obsessing over his favorite sports teams, and combat sports.
Srushti Mistry (RPT, B.Sc, M.Sc)
Srushti Mistry (Registered Physiotherapist) graduated from the University of Waterloo with BSc in Honours Kinesiology, where she gained valuable experience in understanding human movement and its vital role in rehabilitation. Soon after she graduated from University College Dublin with a Masters in Physiotherapy where while learning and traveling, she truly felt physiotherapy was her calling.
She is motivated to help her patients lead a healthier lifestyle through various treatment approaches including postural correction, soft tissue release, active release therapy, cupping, graston (scraping) and acupuncture/dry needling.
